Project Overview

Nebras Power IPP4 / Jordan (formerly AES Levant Power Plant) is located east of Amman, on the same site as the existing Nebras Power IPP1 / Jordan project. It operates a 241 MW tri-fuel power plant. The project was developed, is owned, and is operated by Nebras Power Jordan.

The plant utilizes advanced tri-fuel engine technology, primarily designed for peaking operations. This provides a high level of flexibility in terms of fuel selection and dispatch management.

The total project cost was USD 360 million. Financing for the project was provided by the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
